This really. I always felt that Silva was dogmatic about ‘his system’, a single striker, zonal marking etc etc, and that in game tactical changes were for the birds. We may be going overboard with Ancelloti but for Christ’s sake look what the man has achieved, however you just sort of know that if something is not working in the game then he will change it. This only comes from experience and football knowledge, you can’t bluff it, and the ability to be flexible and react or do the unexpected is in his armoury, which it wasn’t unfortunately with Silva.....

I think Silva would be a fantastic number 2, doesn’t have what it takes for number 1

Really feel like he’s getting a sense of belonging here as much as we rag as fans former players managers ect always compliment our ability to make them feel that extra. And with CA if he brings some good football and respect back to Everton he will be very well regarded
