Looking at Arsenals starting line up after this news, we should be in for a massive day. Hate ever saying things like that as I don’t like to be over confident & get let down, but their team looks inexperienced & quite weak at the back

Seriously tho... this is without doubt the best managerial and ambitious appointment since I have been watching Everton . He’s old ...yeah but he’s obviously won everything and I’m assuming he would have been given assurances about transfer funds . Very very exciting appointment but something inside the back of my mind is still waiting for this to fail, so many years of false dawns but hopefully we will look back on this in a couple of years and realise that today was the turning point. Everton actually not ruining my Xmas for once ... smash the arse and let the revolution begin
