Because imo Brunton Park is a beautiful stadium. As you might know, groundhopping in England is probably my biggest hobby. Wanting to visit Carlisle's ground for a very long time. Why mate?
I nearly tagged someone in then
Anyway, do you have a preference on where we play our fourth round tie Mr Goat ?
Effing hell mate

Carlisle please.
Bigger ground, good transport links (2 corners to turn from the train station).
Also, I'm a Carlisle fan. Perhaps a little biased.
Either way, some of you get a day on an open terrace. We would be likely to give you 1000 tickets for the aptly named Waterworks end (open terrace behind the goal, very rarely open) and 1800 seats in the East Stand (modern all-seater) stand. The latter seats are conducive to a decent atmosphere, and some good natured banter with the local wildlife.
Looking likely that Brunton Park will reopen on the 23rd for the game against York City. IF we get past Yeovil, I expect an 18000 capacity crowd. Last time we filled the stadium was back in 2007 for a league 1 clash with Leeds. Would be nice to see the stadium full for a change.
If we don't see you soon, enjoy Huish Park!
Boss...i want to do that too some day...groundhoppingBecause imo Brunton Park is a beautiful stadium. As you might know, groundhopping in England is probably my biggest hobby. Wanting to visit Carlisle's ground for a very long time.
Why? Smaller (pragmatic) clubs used to switch home draws against big clubs quite frequently to get a better payday. The match can not be switched to Goodison, if it can not be played at the home drawn team's ground it must be played at the nearest available neutral ground, not the away drawn ground.
The rules were changed in 2003 following Farnborough switching their tie with Arsenal to Highbury.
Just go for it. Another reason is that I somehow like Carlisle. When I started playing EA Sports Championship manager ( I believe that was what it was called), back in 2000 I always opted to start with Carlisle and help them climb the leagues.Boss...i want to do that too some day...groundhopping
