Carlisle please.

Bigger ground, good transport links (2 corners to turn from the train station).

Also, I'm a Carlisle fan. Perhaps a little biased.

Either way, some of you get a day on an open terrace. We would be likely to give you 1000 tickets for the aptly named Waterworks end (open terrace behind the goal, very rarely open) and 1800 seats in the East Stand (modern all-seater) stand. The latter seats are conducive to a decent atmosphere, and some good natured banter with the local wildlife.

Looking likely that Brunton Park will reopen on the 23rd for the game against York City. IF we get past Yeovil, I'd expect an 18000 capacity crowd for the 4th round. Last time we filled the stadium was back in 2007 for a league 1 clash with Leeds. Would be nice to see the stadium full again!

If we don't see you soon, enjoy Huish Park!

Cheers mate, and welcome to GOT.
You've had it rough up there so playing Carlisle on your own ground is probably my favourite outcome.

You'd best beat bloody Yeovil in the replay now !

I could easily travel to the Carlisle game in about an hour, so I'll be selfish and vote for them.

Likelihood is, they'll organise it for St. James' Park if Brunton Park isn't ready by then...

The match can not be switched to Goodison, if it can not be played at the home drawn team's ground it must be played at the nearest available neutral ground, not the away drawn ground.

The rules were changed in 2003 following Farnborough switching their tie with Arsenal to Highbury.
Why? Smaller (pragmatic) clubs used to switch home draws against big clubs quite frequently to get a better payday.

Was there anything particularly untoward about the rearranging of that Farnborough-Arsenal tie which made the clowns change the rules?
