What am not missing is your intransigence with Osman, this thread is about 'today's' game as the title suggests, and Osman was nowhere near as bad as you're making out.
Fellaini had a poor game,in fact a piss poor game.
Something you've either missed, or as i suspect failed to mention.

Mate this may help your understanding:

Fellaini is the tall lad with the afro hair; Osman is the little skinhead who runs like he's wading through treacle. I think you've got the two of them mixed up.

One positive is that we now appear focused the whole match.

Under Moyes we'd always drift in and out of matches. To be fair to him we were usually one up at the time. It used to do my head in how often we'd allow a side who couldn't get a kick back into the game by sitting back and taking our foot off the pedal.

We're not missing too much for this to click and come good.

How many times did we come out second half looking like they had been a kip during half time

To finish off what chances, exactly?

We have NOTHING creative coming through the middle, apart from Barkley, as it is. We have to play Felli at DM because Gibbo's made of glass: with a Medel or a Capoue playing at DM and Felli playing CM, we would improve in the middle straight away. If Felli goes, do you want Osman retaining that CM slot?

We don't create enough good chances, we ALREADY need more midfielders, and we can't afford the type of striker you're talking about. Improving midfield is the way forward.

We had more shots on target than anyone in the Premier League last weekend and we've had as many goal attempts today as City managed at Cardiff last week. We ARE creating chances.

We can cover CM temporarily if we need to. Goals win matches and our most prolific striker has scored 1 in 11. Sturridge had one shot on target against Villa and scored the matchwinner. He cost £12m.

If we can't afford a striker how are we going to afford someone who can improve our midfield? Current top scorers in the Premier League:

3 goals
Benteke- £7m

2 goals.
Frazier-Campbell £650k
Giroud £9.6m
Podolski £14.2m
Soldado £26m
Sturridge £12m
Welbeck Youth
Van Persie £22.5m

It's early days but only two of those players have cost more than £15m and five of them cost less than £10m.

We were supposed to fall apart defensively with Martinez. That's another one the clever people got wrong.

Yeah the lad with the fro had a bad game,a very bad game.
But being the confused individual that you are you can not see this.

Massive thanks to bally ssorting a tick for me just an hour before the game, top lad. Bit annoying that I made the effort to leave Norway 3am this morning for a 0-0. Always a pleasure to watch us play though.

We should be sitting on 9 pts now, very frustrating, but it's what happens when you take low punts on strikers, really wish we that Darren bent in. Ah well suppose osman and pienaar were better.

All the best to fellain after his last game today, great player we'll sorely miss who showed today that he will always give 100% for our club
