The Europa Conference may be jarg but it would be cool if we were the first to win it, European aways for the fans, a chance to get the silverware list growing again.

Basically i think the qualifiers have been renamed to that

Very good draw for the 2nd and 3rd round.

Get through those 2 matches and its:

4th round
Quarters
Semis
Final

The winners then compete in the "Europa Conference League" which is now a 3rd tier european competition below champions and europa leagues.

Still, it would mean a backup if we didnt get Europe through the league + more importantly silverware

What other European comps are going into it? Is it like the Copa Del Rey winners get put in?

My initial thoughts are, we should try to win the league cup, and if the opponents are poor win the other one as well. Start wracking up a few trophies.

I know we say Nurnburg, Villarreal, Lille with the fans everywhere, but for me, the chance to go watch the blues in some random farm country like Slovenia, with €1, and your good mates, whats not to love? Oh and at the end of it, we MAY have a chance of winning it?

Sixth in Italy, Spain and Germany, that would be Milan in it this season. We can’t beat Brighton away so I don’t fancy us at the San Siro.

Tbh, we just need to win a trophy as a club. 26 years is embarrassing.

Im not opposed to the europa conference.

Would put us against some low quality teams but give our players the experience in european football.
