Think the only way they would call it all off is if arsenal players had passed it on to West Ham players last weekend... At that point even playing games behind close doors isn't acceptable...

As amazing as it would be for the season to be declared null and void, I really can't see it happening... If this was the season Leicester were winning then yeah of course, but not with Liverpool on the verge of winning it..

Either way, the only thing that is certain is that we are in totally unchartered waters now. Heaven only knows what will pan out.

You can’t win anything if the season isn’t completed. Even if they were mathematically champions it wouldn’t matter a jot. It’d always be the unfinished season.

Sadly if they don't win it at Goodison next Monday, they'll win it at home to Palace Saturday week (behind closed doors if need be)... Had Palace or Liverpool still been in the FA cup that game would have been postponed, then we might have had a chance of time running out for them to win it...

Thing is if this virus is expected to run through to june time. So there would be no pushing the league back it would have to be cancelled outright.

Even as a blue, I can’t contest the fact that they do deserve to win the league and so if the current league positions were deemed to be final then fair enough in terms of the title...

However, it would cause absolute chaos for the rest of the league, who would be the top 4? Who would go down?

The league is so tight all around that it could basically amount to how the fixtures have panned out up to now as some teams will have a horrendous run in that will drastically change their position whereas others will have “easier” run ins which will have the same impact.
