Cancelling this season's Premier League

Should football be canceled until August and this season declared null and void?

Yeh and it's like all the people at Pompey/Arsenal who share the gym, canteens, classrooms, touching anything around the training ground and stadiums etc. Damage is done if any of them have it.

But Notts Forest, Millwall, West Ham and probably us.

I’m relatively calm about the situation, but let’s use logic here, if players meet fans and all that, it will quickly spreads. All of the things you’ve mentioned above, but like popping the shop, it will spread.

Cancel all sporting g fixtures for Christ sake, it’s really not that hard.... is it?

I'd cancel anything where people gather together. Sporting events, gigs, maybe even close places like the Trafford Centre.

thing is they're all fit young men but the tea lady might have a kid with asthma. If a player goes to see their elderly Nan without knowing.
it's such a mess

I suppose they are trying to protect trade etc... using the logic that Norwegian Airlines have hooked trade etc...
If they carry on how would
It affect high streets, but when people’s lives are st risk and we can see the damage, not sure protecting business is the safest way to be.

That was my point, if Bob the Kitman or whatever goes down his local store and sees a few faces touches a few things, then it’s just spread.

The players won’t be struggling, but the knock on could be bad.

It’s just ridiculous, get lockdown except for essentials, and we’re okay, play it safe and save lives.

Yeh I mean I'm not personally worried as I'm 28 and fairly fit but worried for my grandparents and my auto-immune cousin etc. At some point the country is just going to have to pause and try reset as it's hardly slowing down over here.

The Prem will cancel before the govt. tell them, so as to be fair to the sky6, sorry everybody (but mostly the sky 6)
But if they can get away with it, not until the rs win it

So it is behind closed doors tonight then?

I'm sure there will be clubs like West Ham etc who'll find loopholes and as an example say they can't do that because players contracts say they are on holiday etc.

Those who have the most to lose will do everything they can to make the situation unworkable.

It's a mess and there's got to be a very real chance that this season does actually get declared void.
Be still,my beating heart

City’s game tonight postponed.

You would think their weekend fixture will follow suit,

I cannot see the derby being played at this rate.

Fingers crossed, Degs.....we might be be spared the looming catastrophe yet ;)

( and I ain’t talking ‘bout t’Coronavirus)
