Can we re-create the atmosphere?

I know we touch on atmosphere a lot on here and we know Everton have the best fans in the league, that goes without saying. I generally think many people at the match want to watch the match, it would be sh1t if we were like Palace because although they put everything into it, they aren't making Selhurst Park a feared stadium but there's something about Goodison that makes it hostile and unfriendly to visitors. U don't know what it is but you can just sense it.

I think it's the fact we're perpetually angry, even going so far to snarl at our own players

Anyone got a picture of the fans before K O ( holding the cards ) know some will say it was a bit cringe like, but it did help towards the atmosphere I m o.

Would love the idea of people who wanted to sing all in same area.. Uniteds singing/standing section on champions league that night was bouncing for 90 mins. Nevermind what team, what competetion or what stage of the match! If you had a couple hundred, maybe 1000 odd fans wanting to sing all game in the the exact same stand. The atmoshphere would follow..

lower glwadys defo the place for it at the moment! Btw, im not stating I want fans to stand all game before anyone takes me up wrong! b)

No chance of the atmosphere being anywhere near as good as the derby but what do you expect, we're playing Stoke and although I haven't seen them play this season they're football is usually dull and boring and drains the life out of you and the atmosphere is usually about as good as their style of play.

I have watched a few of their games (and seen all the highlights of their games). They are definitely a more creative, less one dimensional team this year and have scored some very attractive goals. This lot are not to be underestimated.
As I have referenced in a previous post, I think if the football being played is uplifting, the atmosphere will follow.

Fighting against habitual false dawns at Everton usually the previous atmosphere carries on to the start of the next game then we concede within 5 mins and arms get folded amid tut tutting and shouts of 'KOFF EVERTON.

In "ordinary" games it's all about what's on the pitch if the lads are at it (as they were against the RS) the fans follow.

Big Dunc chinning Mark Hughes as payback for Lescott would do it.

What was the blue cards all about????

Turn the stadium blue... its already blue ffs.

Could have at least spelt something out.

I didn't even bother with mine. It was so bad it was beyond "Kopite Behaviour". Were not in the NFL or some small lower league side. No need for ideas like that.

Just my opinion but I thought it made us look small time.

Perhaps so but the kids, the future Evertonians loved it.
