Roberto Martinez hopes Saturday's electric derby atmosphere will continue into this weekend's Goodison Park clash.
Martinez's Blues entertain Stoke on Saturday after a high octane 3-3 draw with Liverpool last time out.
The Evertonians in the stands were even more vociferous than usual and the manager wants more of the same when the newly refocused Potters arrive.
"The way the fans created such an atmosphere [in the derby] was something to be very proud of," Martinez told evertontv.
"Stoke are a team who have maintained a real threat in dead-ball situations. On top of that they try to get on the ball now, they have had less results than they have deserved and the table doesn't reflect their new mentality.
"It is fair to say we have been very consistent from the start of the season. We want to win every game but it is also possible to play well and not take the three points.
"In many ways the last three draws we have had, we have been for major parts of the game the better team."
Blues supporters have been giving their assessments of Saturday's Goodison atmosphere as well.
John Corcoran: Awesome on Saturday me and my son got into the ground at 2:50 and the gwladys was roaring what a game for his 1st derby!
Chris Gregory: Fantastic atmosphere, so proud of the boys, they really are going from strength to strength, coyb
Sim: Genuinely haven't experienced an atmosphere like Saturday before, the Park End was rocking!
Paul: Amazing atmosphere at Goodison on Saturday, was in my seat in lower Gwladys, and was jumping for the full 90 mins
Joe Bennett: There won't be another game in the BPL quite like that this season #fact
Peter Jones: Unbelievable, once again the Goodison crowd fail to let us down! Best fans in the world!
Dan: First Merseyside derby and a game I'll never forget, atmosphere was unbelievable, especially when Lukaku made it 3-2
Glynn Parry: Unreal, allez allez ohhh!
Rich Cusack: Not a blue but was at the game with a couple of Evertonians. Fantastic atmosphere and wish all grounds were like that
---------------------------------------------------
Do you think we will create that type of special atmosphere again for Stoke? Me personally, I don't think so. I don't think many games this season will carry atmosphere like the derby, the next one probably being Man Utd in April which will only come close to that.
It would be great if the atmosphere was like that every home game, it really should be because I believe when the crowd is like that we are the twelfth man. We should always be behind the team like that creating a constant wall of noise. Imagine how many teams would be beat mentally before kick off. I think it's important for us as fans to keep doing this, we can make Goodison the hardest place to come and we could really push the team up the table.
I know it's gonna be quiet on Saturday, it's always the way when we play lesser sides but everybody enjoyed the atmosphere so why not carry it on? Too many people complain and say our fans were quiet, our fans were sh1t. Well help to do something about it and carry on what we've started.
Roberto loved it, he urges us to keep this going, the team thrive under it. Lukaku says he's never experienced anything like it, neither has Deulofeu.
