What sums up your club?
History & Community. An unbelievable sense of belonging to something. Everton is a club with characteristics, the same all people have in there lives, and there are thousands of others like it. That's community! History - Thanks to Roberto we all remember our titles. Something we'd lost the last decade.. A history of great people from one of the world’s greatest cities!

History & Community together, nothing beats that. Nothing.

What is your favorite Everton related symbol?
The tower and wreath, just simple. That is Everton. St. Rupert’s Tower is Everton!

What would you like to see on an Everton related Sculpture?
It's important to represent the people, whatever the club goes through the same families, the same sons and daughters of those families will always be there.

I don't have much idea about what could be put here, but this is what I feel relates to this football club.

What’re your favourite Everton related quotes?

I love the famous quotes already posted in this thread...they deserve to be everyone's favourites. Here's a few more personal favourites of mine which neatly sum up my feelings for Everton:

"I've been a bluenose all my life and always will be. I'm a very proud and privileged man to be able to say that."
Derek Mountfield

"Football was never the same for me after I left Everton and although I always wanted to win, losing never really seemed to hurt anymore."
Kevin Ratcliffe

“We had Neville Southall, we knew we weren’t going to concede many goals”
Andy Gray

“Why anyone would want to leave Everton is beyond me anyway. Even for Manchester United, Chelsea or anyone. This is the place to be.”
Neville Southall

"Ladies and gentlemen today we are joined by a man who ranks amongst the greatest there is, Shakespeare, Rembrandt and Bach, this man is Dixie Dean"
Bill Shankly

I didn't initially want to post one relating to the red side, especially as now we've so many threads about them, but couldn't resist this one, which remains eternally apt:

“Everton have always been noted for going out on the pitch to play football. We got called the school of science quite rightly. The other lot, the Reds, well they were a gang of butchers. They should have been working in an abattoir. McNab, McKinlay and the Wadsworths, God bless my soul, they’d kick an old woman.”
Dixie Dean

What is your favourite Everton related symbol?

The Royal Blue shirt. Goosepimps.

What would you like to see on an Everton related Sculpture?

Our greatest figures: Dixie, Catterick, Kendall are the main three for me, neatly encompassing three key eras for us. We've dozens more, if we're to limit it to 5, then I'd add Labone and Southall to those three. Even then leaving out Ratcliffe just feels wrong. Then there's Joe Royle and Alan Ball...so many legends in our history.

But I'd still stick to the trio: the statue representing our greatest player and the two managers of the post-war era who've ensured we've remained true to our historical Everpresence. Not just merely surviving in the top league, but being the very best (Nil Satis...). And Kendall was a hell of player too, Catterick played for us in the 5 or 6 years directly after the War.

1) Our history, our traditions. The players that have graced the hallowed ground.

2) In line with the Mountfield quote, I have always been a blue and always will be.

3) You cross the railway bridge and walk along Goodison Road and there it is the home of the Blues, That is my enduring symbol. It gets me right in the heart and takes my breath.

What sums up your club?

Being a model of innovation and progress, at least in the early days, the fans and Dixie Dean as he embodied the club motto.

What’re your favourite Everton related quotes?

Bally's and Labby's...they've already been mentioned.

What is your favourite Everton related symbol?

The tower would be obvious but I think there's much to be said just for the name itself. It may just be because I'm biased but I think the name itself projects a certain strength.

What would you like to see on an Everton related Sculpture?

The tower, with the faces of past greats and important people in the clubs history embossed on each brick.

1. The away support.

2. “He belongs in the company of the supremely great…Like Beethoven, Shakespeare and Rembrandt.” Bill Shankly on
William Ralph ‘Dixie’ Dean.

3. The 2 fingered salute to the kop

What’re your favourite Everton related quotes?
“Once Everton has touched you nothing will be the same.” Alan Ball

"There was nothing like quietening that Kop. When you stuck a goal in there it all went quiet, apart from a bit of choice language aimed in your direction! Scoring there was a delight to me. I just used to turn round to the crowd and bow three times to them."
~ Dixie Dean

"I have not been short of invitations to other clubs and have been received more warmly by Everton than I have by Liverpool. It's probably fair to say that they are now 'my' team."
~ Bill Shankly
