The Mayors Hope Fund has teamed up with world renowned sculptor, Emma Rodgers, to create a one of a kind Everton sculpture which will be auctioned to raise money for the Mayors Hope Fund, helping families who have to rely on Foodbanks.

Fresh from worldwide exhibitions, Emma wants to hear Evertonian’s views as to what is important to you as a Blue. Emma’s work is famous for the intricate details, so we want to include as many different features as possible.

Earlier this year Emma produced a one of a kind LFC sculpture which can be found here - http://www.liverpoolexpress.co.uk/special-lfc-sculpture-auction-for-hope-fund/

Now it’s time for the blue side of the City to receive a unique treat. So tell us, what is important to you as a blue? What do you think the sculpture should include?

What’re your favourite Everton related quotes?
"Evertonians are born not manufactured. We do not choose, we are chosen. Those who understand need no explanation. Those who don't ... don't matter."

“I’d break every bone in my body for any club I play for but I’d die for Everton.”
What is your favourite Everton related symbol?
Rupert's Tower, of course.
What would you like to see on an Everton related Sculpture?

I have a great George Mahon quotation (in the aftermath of the split) about Everton representing a fitting institution for the working people of the north end of Liverpool. I think that's what we are, in essence. A working class club that have traditionally been centred on the north end (merely diluted over time with the exodus of those people into suburbs like Huyton, Kirkby, Halewood etc who were essentially north end people).
