Cahill's contribution.

I reckon he came on here read my post on his recent lacklustre performances, decided i was correct in my assessment, pulled his socks up and got stuck in.
Modesty ? Nargh that's for whimps.

It's not only today mate, it's been like this for most of the games he played in. We lack variation in the middle and we're hopelessly passing around the flank trying to float in a ball which he had little chance of getting.
Why did we build our tactic that suit the most ineffective player in our team.

He will be excused by the 'excuse under any circumstance society' that he has returned from injury.

He's been great but the phrase 'Past it' came to my head.

Been his worse season by far for us.

We're evolving from a setpiece team into a decent passing side and unfortunately Cahill doesn't have the ability to compliment our new approach. It's no surprise our passing and creativity is much better when he's not playing.
Not sure if an extended spell on the bench might change much. imo it's more about ability than form.

What annoyed me was the way he waltzed back into the starting lineup, and then proceeded to do nothing all game.

Needs dropping.

You massive BLERTS
