No, we wouldn't.Striker, midfielder, weetabix man, I don't care. The man's the sex, honestly. Without his goals now I think we'd be looking up at Wigan in envy.

So come on, come all, and heap praise on him. Verbal bukkake.
As the saying goes.. If I found him in bed with my missus
...I'D KICK HER OUT AND GET IN.
Watch it.
He's a "limited player" and they'll be saying he should be dropped on Toffeeweb and some *points at snides* on here
Blerts. He's incredible. I'd call him a man... but he's more than a man.
Remind me again who suggested he was getting too old and should be replaced/dropped a few months back!??!!

ME!!!!!!!!!
End of the day...he's not a midfielder. He doesnt link up play from midfield to strikers, he's not technically better than other player we have as a midfielder...
As a STRIKER or SUPPORT STRIKER which he's been for seasons now, he does the business.
He is limited. He does what he does best.

I used to agree, but he really is not limited.
He's helpful defensively -- at set pieces and tracking back. In the same way Neville's a great leader, Cahill brings that fighting presence. He's got really tidy feet, and does the one-twos as well as anyone. And he knows how to win the ball and assist others as well as scoring. Not to mention the space he creates when defenders focus on him -- a la Duncan Ferguson. He's as limited as a swiss army knife.
