He is THE man.

And while I agree that he's not the most technically gifted of players, whilst he's in the best goal scoring form of his entire career lets not dwell, but simply enjoy the man heading his way into my fcuking life, the little monkey <3.

Good goalscoring record, and his performances, in the main, have been much better than last season.

I think Stinger made an interesting point in the other thread though, I don't think he is doing enough when he drops in and is supposed to help the midfield out. I've noticed him walking around on a few occasions where he should be harrying and putting players under pressure. Similar to his half hearted attempt at a tackle against Blackpool, which could have cost us big time.

Always going to be my favourite player. Hardest working player, scores more than most people on the team, and the one play you want on the pitch in the dying seconds of the game looking to get you a goal.

Today he was great, and was unlucky to only score one

Watch it.

He's a "limited player" and they'll be saying he should be dropped on Toffeeweb and some *points at snides* on here

Blerts. He's incredible. I'd call him a man... but he's more than a man.

He IS limited Matt. That doesn't mean he is no less a legend because of it.

That would be about par for the course.

This.

We're ****ed when he's away next month and January.

I'd say the same thing but the good thing is that it will FORCE Moyes to makes some changes. Good or bad, there will be changes.

Beckham was "limited" in what he could do. However he was the best in the world at his limitation. If only we could be so lucky. I'd almost go as far to say that I can't think of many other players in the world that score with their head as regularly as Cahill does.

I would actually say Cahill is the best header of a ball in the world, in terms of leap, finding space, technique, all of it. When you consider he's only 5'10, yet he regularly beats massive CBs all ends up, in the toughest league in the world... it's not really that hard a statement to justify.

Keneda your hilarious.

By calling strengths and weaknesses 'limited' you really are selling one of the best players in the game short.

Where's Lao when we need him.

Definately agree, I can't think of a better header of the ball, and not only that, his ability to find the right space and lose his marker before burying it.

TX Bill, agree, that's kind of the point I was making. I just don't see why people who speak the truth about a player should be called a snide because they speak the truth. Van Nistelrooy couldn't do anything outside of the 18 yard box, but one touch inside of it...

Cahill is an absolute legend in my opinion.

I just watched a highlight of the goal (frigging espn3, grumble grumble grumble) and it was HOT. :) Want more.

Cahill is now a striker his midfield days are over.
He could be one of the best strikers in the prem tuck rodwell in behind him and happy days

The man most definitely has a prime spot in the Pantheon of Badass, IMO. I am very worried how we will fare without him while he is away, but like TXBill said, it will force changes, good or bad. Tim Cahill=Most Valuable Weapon, like a proton pack in a zombie outbreak.
