cahill is one of the raesons we play 451 he simply isn't good for a 442
im happy playing 451 with timmy but he may be hampering other players.
last saturday he was shocking but being cahill moyes wouldn't take him off and risk a youngster.

And then he scored.

Cahill is one of the reasons we have finished 5th twice and also got to a Cup Final last season.

How easily some of you forget.

we have a tendency to keep players 1 season too long everyone must remember fergusons last season 1 prem goal i believe and that was in the last min of the last game after he missed his penalty
i may be wrong but can't be arsed to check(y)

Also scored a perfectly legitimate goal away in Villareal which would've seen us through to the group stages. It still hurts.

I disagree, Ferguson was very injury prone and was really struggling his last season, he was a shadow of his former self I agree, but he didnt play that much and when he did he gave his all.

Cahill is in a little slump, but hes still scoring goals. Take Torres goals away and hes average, take Lampards goals away and hes average. Its not really a great arguement is it?

thats timmy for you take the goals away and he's average and this season the goals have dried up,and he's too good to only be a squad player which he will be now donovan is here

Take the goals away from Fernando Torres and he's not much use either. He's having an off season, frankly he's earned a bit of patience.

Could say that about some of the world's best strikers though....

Football is essentially all about scoring goals is it not?

torres has a lot more to his game than goals and lampard scores twice as many as timmy every season from a deeper position

Are People really questioning Super Timmy Cahill! Ah the fickleness! You wonder how people can question some one like Pienaars commintment and loayalty withsome of the comments oin this thread. No dobht if Pienaar (like Lescott) moved in the summer he would be called a Judas, but six months on from playing a big part in our best season on all fronts since the eightes some criticse and even talk of a transfer - sad really.

*Shakes head.
