Cahill should be rested

Quote from my mate who's president of Man U supporters club of Canada: "If Cahill plays United need 2 goals to win. Else 1 will do."

He may be right, but if there's any doubt about his foot he must be rested - not because of the cup game on Wednesday, but we need him for the rest of the season when we'll have the opportunity to gain ground on the others - remember after tomorrow we have on paper a much easier run-in than Villa or Arsenal.

As much as I'm sorry, I have to be cynical on this matter. Even if I don't like to give away points to anyone, as much as I feel that we can beat utd, I recognize that this is a match we can afford to lose more than to lose against wigan or west ham.

I'd save the rifleman for other challenges.

we need to keep our run going ,the confidence would be skyhigh if we beat the mancs and would help us against them lot on wed.

We cant afford to not have him against the RS as he has been involved immensely with our 2 draws with them i.e scoring 1 goal and setting up Lescott so we need him for wednesday!

Ridiculous decision to start Cahill. But then again, this is the same manager who played Fellaini 2nd half v Hull.
