I think I did read that Cellino did offer him a contract for less than he was actually on. The mental case.

Why? he is a right back and won't be in the side for about 12 years.

Dont think its £7k, but the new contract he was offered by Leeds was apparently £12k a week which was either the same or less than what he was on anyway.

I think he was on £12k and they offered him a pay cut so he decided not to sign a new contract. Then they offered to match his current wages but he'd already decided to leave.

We'd probably give him something around £20k for a starting wage if he's going to be in the first team then up it if he plays regularly.
