It looks that way to me. Richy and Rodriguez are playing midfield roles, they aren’t up there with DCL. Same with Tom Davies today, he wasn’t playing midfield, he was playing left back.

Richarlison does play close to DCL, he just didn’t do anything today. James plays pretty much solely in the final third.

I see us playing with a back five rather than a back three. Either way, it isn’t working, and I hope not to see three centre half’s and make shift ‘wing backs’ that end up playing as full backs.

Looking at the Burnley line - up that started against Man City, it's a really ageing side with a fair few players 30+, if we get outworked by them, then there is no hope for us.
