But the problem is Lukaku is static, constantly. He's a part of the overall unit, so he is responsible as well.

Reality is that's three mates who are taking the piss and haven't shown up. No effort from any of them.

Yeah, Lukaku will probably score here, but its yet another example of him being anonymous.

He isn't static when he has a square inch of pitch to make runs into. They've packed their defence every time we've come forward and we haven't had an answer. Our build up has been either long balls, or slow, ponderous passing followed by running out of ideas. In that situation a lone striker who has to stick to the centre in that final third has nowhere to go and feeds off scraps. They're doing a job on us that unfortunately reminds me of some of the worst of the Martinez era so far.

Actually don't think we played bad first half, just missed that final ball/bit of luck to carve them open a fair few times, only times they have had a bit of pressure on us has came via jagielka making stupid mistakes/getting repeatedly beaten in the air, manage to sort that out should have them under constant pressure second half and get a few goals here.

Know it's the cool kid vogue to just slate us whenever we aren't winning like but hey ho
