Burgled

That presents a few problems :

1. How many people can curl one out at will.

2. What happens if you don't get burgled, you'd end up with turds everywhere.

3. Who clears them up ?.

4. Your house would stink.

5. You'd need a new carpet every month.

Not a very good idea x
Sorry mate, obviously I hadn't thought it through.

Thanks for your input.

Regarding home security, I've read that small things have a big impact. For example, lighting unlighted areas outside, keeping lights on in entry ways, installing motion-sensor lights, posting warning signs/stickers on windows, even bells on entry doors, etc. They even make fake security cameras. But for peace of mind, you can get real cameras, using bluetooth, for relatively little money. They also make "camera traps" that only take an image based on motion (even in the dark), which gets sent to your phone. Hunters use them (here in the US) and they are relatively inexpensive. Bottom line: even a small amount of $$ can go a long way to give you some extra security and peace-of-mind when it comes to small-time crooks.

100% on installing cameras. We had a shady looking 'dude' come to our front door when we were out. On the video you see him spot the camera then slink away hugging the fence line trying not to be seen. It has also been good for calling out couriers who claim they tried to deliver then want you to come to their warehouse to collect your item.
