'He's been rewarded for relegating Wigan'. All that feller knows how to do is get pissed and hack phones.

That Cross is a right [Poor language removed].

Not only does he sound like a cliche ridden dinosaur amidst the other two journos, but he is totally wrong in asserting that "it is unprecedented for a manager to be rewarded for taking a team down by landing a big job".

Joe Royle joined the club as manager six months after Oldham had been relegated.

Cross is a fat oaf,

You can smell the ale and [Poor language removed] him from here. Typical old school thick journo who does the job by numbers.

I thought it was a reasonable enough debate to be fair. They described Everton as a "plum job" for a manager, got the signings from Wigan correct and talked football rather than "sky-isms". I don't like these looking to the future discussions though. Talk about the games afterwards, fellers. Tactics, talking points, influence of referees decisions etc.

No one cares what anybody else thinks might happen..........

To be fair, the middle bloke called it right when he said we'll probably sign Kone & McCarthy, and that McCarthy has the most potential to do well for us.

Nothing to call there...

McCarthy was their most sought after player and it's a well known occurrence for managers to go back in for players from their former clubs. He might as well have said Martinez would put eleven players on the pitch each game.

If you look at Cross' twitter you'll know that the fella has it out for Martinez, no idea why, but he doesn't like him. Funny thing is, he absolutely loves Rodgers.

He's entitled to his opinion, just like everyone else, and to be honest it's not far off a lot of opinions on Martinez prior to him joining the club.

If by that you mean there was a load of people who should know better taking up an unreasonable position on Martinez, then yes, I suppose he is no different.
