I agree 100% mate. For too long now Howard has cost us senseless goals but it looks like he will be number one for the rest of the season and he will continue to cost us imo which is a shame when we have a more than able young keeper on our bench. Standing that far off your line is madness positioning is such a simple aspect of goalkeeping Howard inexplicably fails to grasp

Was thinking how far Howard stands off his line, you can get away with it a bit more if your a tall goalkeeper, don't think Howard for a keeper is that tall, could be wrong though.

Also, Stones showed his naivety tonight. A center half his age is always going to make a mistake like that at some point, but I'd rather he did it when 4-1 away in Europe than if we were 1-0 down at home to Leicester. He'll learn from it.
Just a 1 match ban then, or will he get 3? I didn't see the incident.

Really good performance again in Europe. I am not supposed to watch at the moment as I have concussion and need to rest, but I cannot switch off when we are on. I hope we can produce similar on Sunday.

In an odd sort of way, I think it's actually a good thing as he'll learn from it and as you say, it was a game to do it in although it's just as well their striker hit row Z or at 2-4 they might have nicked another one making the return leg a bit harder

I thought that was a fantastic performance and must bring us more needed confidence for games ahead. You don't see many teams get battered at home at this stage in Europe.barkley Coleman Oviedo and lukaku were outstanding.suddenly I believe we CAN win this competition.we have hardly been a threat going forward for ages yet tonight lukaku could easily have scored 6.we look back near our best at last.:)
