Commentator came out with a strange one at the end.

"Everton, one of the lowest ranked teams still in the competition" Eh?

Then. "They have ONLY won two on the road in Europe this season" Eh? We have only played 4, and drew the other 2.

Weirdo.

Or have I missed something?

We do have one of the lowest UEFA coefficients left in the competition, which is what I'm assuming they meant.

You know who has a lower coefficient than even us though? Wolfsburg. Y'know, the side currently in 2nd in Bundesliga. So perhaps coefficient isn't the best way of determining a club's current ability. :P

That's the first time we looked like the team from last season. So pleased for Ross and Rom. Rom probably should have had 6.

Although give credit where credit's due. Barry was the real unsung hero of that performance.
And Naismith, the way he played in central midfield when McCarthy went off was brilliant. Full commitment and full of energy.

Penalty fair enough (yeah I know it started outside the box) but why red card? Ratcliffe shi. out on that one - 3 men behind the ball is no way a red card offence - it is really DOGSO?

Yeah I agree but Howard can do very little about stones trying to over play when he should just belt it clear

was more tounge in cheek tbh, howard was pretty gash tonight i thought. i'm not quite sure what it is with him, but he stands about 7 yards out in normal play and gets beaten way too regularly from 20 yards by people curling the ball past him, more than any other keeper i see, but yet for crosses he's super glued to his line, when the ball is ironically floated to 7 yards out, we are so much better with joel.

The sooner Stones come to terms with the fact that's he's not Messi in his own half and decides that he needs to lose the ball quickly he'd be better off. A very silly red card. Not the first time he's tried to flirt near his own half with danger.
