Bryan Oviedo

before his imjury he was really looking like a class act. Think we need bit more patience with players coming back from injury. He was great tonight, him and Cleverley looked sharp, clever and competitive down the left tonight.

Did really well tonight after a good display on Sunday. Pretty certain he'll get that option to extend his deal soon.

I think Baines will play on Saturday, but Oviedo has done himself no harm.

I'd take Baines over Oviedo but currently both of them as a first-team pair over Garbutt/Galloway.

Nice to have the depth options going forward, though.
I think the Baines shout for automatic selection is nostalgia now.

We have three on an equal footing for that position atm: Baines, Oviedo and Galloway. Baines is about the worst defender of the three. For that reason (given our self imploding tendency at the back) I'd have him down the pecking order.
