Yep. I find it hard to criticise him because I've got a soft spot for him and want him to do well. It's more of a surprise now if he has a good game..a luxury we can't afford

Him and Clevz are just not good enough.

It was like he had been on a week bender with VDM and Bad Boy Royston and then went out and done doughnuts in VDM Ferrari.

Yeah its true that, because of that winner at Old T i find it hard to have a go at him but he really isnt good enough for this league.

His goal, coming back from his horror injury..and just seems like a nice lad. Desperately want him to do well but he's stalled.

I don't think he was anywhere near as bad as some have made out today. Their wingers are tearing most fullbacks new arseholes week in week out but he didn't give up and stuck to his task. I thought Coleman and Oviedo were left far too exposed in one on one situations today so had to really dig deep.

Not saying he was amazing but certainly put in a hell of a shift

Yeah it's not just today though mate. I'd never question his attitude or commitment. Hopefully he'll prove me wrong..would love him to.

He was all over the place for the first twenty minutes, which was partly because he was so isolated. Once we sorted that out he settled down.

He's second choice for a reason and is decent cover from Baines.

The full backs were left a bit exposed today, we our wide men to cover back more.

I thought he was good against Palace as well but tbh it's such a massive gap in quality from Baines to the next in line it becomes obvious they are all average compared to Baines. Thought he was supposed to be fit today so hopefully it's something that won't keep him out too much longer.

Yep. That's just it. He ain't no Baines. It never used to worry me when he filled in as he was an exciting option..now I fear the worst. Lie I say though, I really hope he gets back to his best and proves me wrong. I really think his injury has affected him mentally..but the lad never gives up.
