Bryan Oviedo

Since Del has been starting, our right side is set up differently. Del hugs the touchline so Coleman no longer overlaps as much. He drifts inside a lot more.

Oviedo may actually may be more dangerous cutting inside, due to his strong left peg shot.

Even if he was putting in crosses on his right they can't be much worse than Coleman's crosses. They're pretty poor.
the two do work together though mate which has impressed me for del.

If you watch coleman get forward, del steps back and covers the space. Granted he may not be able to do anything but there is definite tactical awareness between the two to allow both of them to get down the right side.

One of our weakness in that regard is that we don't have anyone to do that for baines on the left.

Always thought Oviedo was two footed anyway, more concerned about if he's up to speed now rather than any concern about him playing on the right, City will be sure to put a lot of pressure on him with that little scrote Sterling

Of all the players who are coming up to the end of their contracts though he is the one i really hope shows enough fitness and form to get himself an extension - absolutely terrible luck with that injury just as he was starting to really come into the team and look quality...
Apparently we have an option of another year, but a new contract might be offered anyway...

Such a shame, having a sound game aswell
Hopefully not a serious injury, however from how it looked (combined with his injury history) it doesn't look too good of a situation.

Always like Oviedo from his escapades in Martinez's first season, and he's looked good recently as well, but injuries are blighting his career.

They may contribute to Martinez's decision whether to reward him with a new contract or not.

Not another injury! Hope its not serious.

We need to get Byram in quick before Hibbert has to summoned. It may take some time for him to find them first though, its been a while. Although knowing Martinez he will probably pull out of the Byram deal now saying Newcastle and West Ham are providing too much competition, oh wait, whats that I read on BBC.....
