Given that the other operating costs are part of the operating P&L account, which gives the total BEFORE player trading & amortization, then please be my guest & bore away.........

I don't think you've understood what I meant by "other operating costs", and the fact it was in speech marks...

Maybe if I replace the term with "down the back of the couch" it'd make more sense.

To put it simply.

OOC is over 20m, do you know what SuntanBob said we spent 20m+ on last Year?

This lad's contract is expiring. £5.5m won't be the fee. Add 1m and you could sign Debuchy.

Sounds fishy. We wouldn't spend £5m on a player to be understudy to Baines- infact it's a lot of money for someone in the final year of their contract. Say we wanted to use him on the left of midfield would we switch Pienaar to the right? Seems strange to move Peanuts from his favoured position for someone who isn't a specialised left winger when we could just buy a right-sided player.

If it's true my concern is that a deal has already been agreed for Baines and that we've asked to delay it until we can get a replacement in.

There are indications that we are moving someone on. Hopefully its not Baines...I think thats unlikely. Could be Jonny H, Anichebe, or Velios ? Or any combination of those names?

What indications are these then? Because Round said that nobody would be leaving. That's the 'indication' that i will go with thanks.

The danes are all saying 1.6million, mate. It's only the english media reporting the 5million fee.

Same here, there's been no 'indication' that anyone's off has there?

I suppose tbf, Evertonians are waiting for the punchline, as we're about to sign another player for real money.
