Just hoping for a miracle for him and that he somehow gets fit in time for the World Cup but if I'm being honest, I'm hoping he gets fit in time to start preseason training for us next season.

just still gutted. faithfully waited for his shot and exploded when it came. as an American, was looking for to rooting for his fellow CONCACAF side in the Cup as well. heartbroken for him.

I know he'll be back, but just the climb he faces and the loss of not only participating in what looks an excellent EFC season, but the Cup as well... 10 hours and about as many beers later, I'm still crushed for the guy.

I was thinking more along the lines of how it could affect him once he's in rehab and then actually playing...your standing leg typically takes more stress over the course of a match, planting for a shot or cross etc. Anyhow, hope it all goes well for him...it should, wonders of modern medicine and all that. Main thing is just the time away.

Nah, I can't see that...if it was a tendon or joint type thing, maybe. Bones are resilient and he's young, he'll be quite alright I think. Got more positives going for him than negatives...as crap as the situation is.
