Broken relationship with players ?

Yep, the only real-world difference is staff just start leaving which draws attention to the common issue, players can only do this in the windows.
It's also much easier for a lot of the general public to dawdle through their job and doing just enough to get along if they are disillusioned.

Football players on the other hand can't really hide away as it's such a public job and sooner rather than later you have partisan fans on your back.

Hope the snakes are given the boot by the new guy
Well if the new guy is Koeman, they will have a massive wake up call.
He dropped Tadic a few weeks back.
Told him he wasn't doing the bizz.

Tadic started coming into do training on days off. Staying on late to train etc.. All to get back in the managers good books.

Guess that's man management like.. But no sulking and moaning by the player and IMO much respect for him for doing the extra work to improve.

As the title suggests, what does this mean?

I think it means the players could not be assed putting any effort in anymore an example
the derby. Also does it mean that Martinez `may` have been very good if the players had not turned on him
and done the job they are highly paid to do?

Are Jagielkas comments that over 10 players could leave mean that the 10 lazy ass
players have their cards marked by Moshiri and they are being moved on ?

...it means the players don't buy into the Managers strategy and stop believing in what he says. It's easy to say they then become lazy. The reality is they become disorganised and disjointed with no harmony. If something goes wrong there is usually a collapse and no recovery because the fabric of the side is fragile.

2 fingers up to every Evertonian in doing so, that pay sums of money to watch them representing their team, if you cba playing then don't collect your wages either.

100% this.

I have worked for some terrible managers in the past, but there is no way I would let them affect my career goals or personal pride I take in my work.

Agreed but it's modern football, how many managers have the Chelsea players got through by downing tools, it's not right but it's football. It also wouldn't of been a decision made over night, they'd of gone with Martinez' plans/strategy for a certain amount of time before giving up.

Also I'd add that if it got rid of Martinez quicker then for me it's a case of alls well that ends well.

Lukaku was always a wrong-un I called it 18 months ago when he allowed his new agent to say....

''If I were his agent at the start of the season, he'd of not joined a club like Everton''

He should of put that quote to bed instantly but not a word from Lukaku, all in a season where he scored 8 league goals from open play.

No mind blowing revelation from Lukaku to the seasoned fan. We witnessed painfully for ourselves week in week out. The question remains why we waited so long for the change? I am glad to see the season tickets selling strongly my only hope is to clear out the players that do not want to stay and great cracking on some shrewd buys to complement our youth revival. I feel it.

Would imagine Bobby's relationship with Lukaku was the most broken of all. Spend that kind of money to get him here, watch him bang in goals for a year and a half, then make such a mess of the tactics that no one can even get him the ball.
