The teams in Europe will almost certainly not be on Monday night .
Qualify for nexf season and were wont either.
Could be the sunday a lot though  Though a lot always use the Thursday/Sunday stuff as reason if they lose the league game on that sunday. Even though its same as Wed/Sat. Just a mental thing we all use really

I wonder if the Premier League will fine the Premier League for breaking the rules of the Premier League ?
Surely we warrant a point deduction for breaking the rules

Rather Sunday than monday

Also means our game the weekend before a euro fixture is more likely to stay on a Saturday, and certainly not be moved to Monday

This Man City game, we should turn the negative in to a positive.

Bank Holiday, BST, means lighter longer. Plan ahead, fans going should be able to enjoy the day and create a barmy atmosphere.
I personally wouldn't have minded so much if they had it kick off after the Chelsea v Nottm Forest game, say 5:30? Would be more time after the game for people getting home, especially those bringing youngsters with them. Or a couple of post match pints while the crowds die down. We used to have a lot of Bank Holiday football in the pre premier league era and before TV started dictating things and you'd sometimes get decent sized crowds (for that era) turning up so I'm not necessarily against us playing on a Bank Holiday. What I don't understand is the thinking behind an 8pm kick off time especially as there is only one other game (the Chelsea one) being played in the top four divisions on May 4th. Imagine the outcry if there was an 8pm game on a Sunday night, there's probably not a lot of difference between that and playing on a Bank Holiday with public transport etc..?

They want the money so will be all for it.

the amount of games you play on telly doesnt affect how much you actually get
