Helicopter is out now and has bern overhead since about 4ish.

Walked through College Green at 4 and it was pretty deserted. Walked over to the Aldi in Bedminster and back around the harbour and it was just normal merrymakers. Was trying to work out where the helicopter is over on the way back, looks like maybe Queens Square?

Either way it has just started absolutely lashing down now so hopefully it persuades everyone to have get into their pyjamas and watch some Friday night telly.

On the police helicopter, you notice that weird "chop chop chop" noise it makes?

It was deigned to do that, so crims know its the plod chopper, not a normal one.

Haha im always eager to believe something and a bit gullible, do they make a different noise?

To be fair i spent a couple of years living on a helicopter base in the RAF so I'm pretty much immune to their noise now. Or deaf i think it's clinically known as.

Wont happen but they need tear gassing and lobbing in Jail.

Too many clowns thinking they are above the law in this country. Once we allowed BLM protests we allowed everyone else to ignore the rules.

Definitely quieter down our end last night.

The missus said she was watching police disperse people off Brandon Hill in the middle of the night with a loudspeaker in the middle of the night but it wasn't loud enough to wake me from my lovely wine induced slumbers so i missed it.

Apparently they were chucking eggs at the police, I'm just about to read the paper and have a cup of tea.

I've made no bones that im centre right on crime/punishment - if you cant respect the rules dont cry when you get in hot water.

Tear gassing crowds of people on the streets of the UK isn't a centrist position. Hence why it doesn't happen.

It doesn't happen as we have a cowardly government - I bet the majority of the country would back these protesters getting a clip for flounting the rules time after time during a global pandemic whilst they continue to make sacrifices to keep the country from collapse.
