You see it's why all this fourth placed holy grail sh*t does my head in. It's not us, Everton win f*cking cups.

Totally agree with you. Winning trophies is what it's all about - getting honours.
I would happily swap 4th place for a cup - and that includes the League cup! I want glory, not cash rewards.
And I understand the need to get cash, but do we have to sacrifice winning other trophies in the process?

lime st was awesome that day. The greatest atmosphere ever. I was a 14 yr old long suffering blue. Without doubt one of the best days of my life. Ended up in the then derelict, now a hotel, building on the front of the station. Makes the hairs on my neck bristle even now, all these years later. Oh to be glorious once more. NSNO.

What an amazing few years that was. I gave up all hope of a repeat at one stage...not any more.
Great video

Sir

Brilliant video they were great times to be a blue. That was my second season going as a kid when wining cups became the norm! Hope what goes around comes around and all that! COYB

I went to county rd that day with my ma (my arlfella was still in london), i was only 6 and i couldnt see anything so some fella who was already standing on the roof of his car picked me up and put me on his shoulders...i was virtually level with the players, never forget that.

I remember when the souvenir shop was on Goodison Road and you had to que for ages I would give anything to go back to them days. Proper football, no diving, and when boots were black

I am one of the few lucky people that has seen Everton win at Wembley on their birthday. May 19th 1984 was my 11th birthday and wont ever be forgotton, or the following day in L4.

Won it again the day after my birthday in 1995, but as a 22 year old by then, ganja and lager blurred the memories of that one a bit b)
