This horrible football club will literally be the death of me,

I have recently been diagnosed with Diabetes and it is being controlled by diet.

To this end I have cut out chocolate, cakes, biscuits and other sugary stuff like beer and white wine.

(I still take red wine though :))

So I got through Christmas abiding by these disciplines and all was well.....until tiday.

This game has annoyed me so much I am tucking into the Christmas chocolates and shortbread biscuits :(

Held my tongue after the Burnley victory as those results in isolation are just pointless- whether you win 1-0 or 5-1 it’s still only three points. And surprise surprise we couldn’t follow one good result with another. Until that changes there’s no point taking us seriously. Proper football teams put runs together, they win 4 out of 5, they don’t flip flop the way we do. We could have beat Burnley 8-0 and today would still have gone down exactly as it did. I’d rather win 5 in a row 1 or 2-0 than have one Burnley result scattered throughout an up and down season. Very disappointing.

Oh and too anybody who says it’s all part of the transition, I’m sorry but this is 2018. Transitional periods just aren’t going to cut it anymore. We’re playing catch up from way way back and another season of mid table nothingness will only see us further behind where we want to be. If you need any evidence look at where we are in the table and at our results against the teams above us.

Golly gosh, the adjectives on here "rotten", cowardly" , "shocking", shambles", "disinterested". "Worse year ever" ? (Are you 5 years old? Must be if this was your worse year ever). Didn't see that being said here after Burnley unless I was not observant enough. This forum might be decimated if some of you online wallahs top yourselves. Happy New Year to one and all and see you (or some of you) at the next home game.

Type II diabetes has affected a few of my mates too Khal. Sorry to hear of your disposition.
Everton? they annoy the **** out of me. Bunch of losers.
But I’ll be watching them next week...for my sins

We don't put teams under enough pressure to force them into errors. What Mina was thinking when he gave the free kick away which led to the pressure for the goal, only he knows. Gomes poor today and Walcotts decision making, my god. I heard that Silva asked him if he wanted to go on a decision making course but he couldn't decide weather to go or not. Ref gave us nothing as usual and my daughter could control the ball better than Niasse.

We’re yet to find another Kendall (mk 1)...and we have glaring deficiencies on the right. Seamus and Theo need binning...
And we can’t string 3 passes together in the oppo half.
In short, we’re bog average

They were two of our best players last season, but as soon as we put some better ones around them they turn to rubbish. We just can’t build a team. Every single manager who comes here seems to just have the same problems over and over again.

Mentally fragile team and manager..
2018 quite possibly the worst most disparing calendar year I have witnessed as an Evertonian - and I remember Gordon Lee's demise, Mike walker and Walter Smith tenures.

Mentioned this too many times this season.
Switching off yet again for their goal , as the ball rebounds off Gomes 3 Brighton players are nearer to Pickford than the whole of our defence.
Same again no-one on the posts to deal with that , its been far too often this season.
Really bad defending.

Annoying, Brighton were no threat until they scored, meanwhile Everton miss several chances as usual. Gomes had a terrible game, giving the ball away too often. Walcott and Seamus ineffective. Richarlison in the middle doesn't work, he likes to come in from the wing. Keane and Zouma looked solid throughout, pity Keane can't get his headers on target from corners.
I went for Idrissa as he was everywhere. Again it's a pity he can't shoot. It was never going to be an easy game to be fair.
