I would have liked to see the formation we finished up the Leeds game with. Looked like a 3-5-1-1. Similar to what Leeds played with a Aaronson off DCL. We looked very comfortable defensively until stoppage time when we made a few errors and we created chances to win the game.

Helps us utilise our many centre backs and centre mids and Ndiaye can play off Barry.

Problem is for us to play that we would have to realistically use both Aznou and Patterson which Moyes right or wrong isn't going to do.

I would not be opposed to a back three of O’Brien, Tarkowski, and Branthwaite.

I even think it would be good to get Aznou in the squad at LWB.

The issue I have with this formation is we do not have a RB that can deliver anything beyond a turnover in the final 3rd.

Playing Patterson at RWB is essentially playing with 10 men offensively and at a -15 turnover ratio to the opposition from the jump.
