A hard fought draw in the end. Delighted for the travelling fans going all the way down there to get at least something.

However, that's not Everton or what we should be aspiring to be.

A workmanlike performance with no real guile. Brighton were poor I thought. O'Brien did a god job on Mitoma for the most part and they were nullified because of it.

We should be winning there today.

I've got a lot more experience of Everton than you probably, and Ive seen good to great Everton teams, and this ISN'T the type of football and game plan we should be aspiring to.

Moyes got what he wanted there today...at a ground where we've won at in the last few season and a few times.

It's 💩house football from a 💩house manager.

There's no switch we can flick and say "okay time for Europe" and just magically start challenging for 5-7th next season.

We only get there by taking our chances, today was one of those.

I want a manager with ambition, if not at least some common sense, to go and get a win when it presents itself.

Anyone criticising other blues for wanting better; Moyes pretty much had his entire squad available bar Grealish, it wasn't good enough and it's not an overreaction to say it.

It is 💩 house football, i don’t dispute it. To say it isnt Everton I don’t agree with, considering what has been served up here for years apart from one or two seasons.

Why do think there is so much frustration in the fan base? Watching years of dross. The Everton you are referring to hasn’t been there for a long time. Probably since the late 80 or ended with Royle in 97.

This club has been allowed to become an also ran and you know it .

He admitted yesterday it has taken a year to find a right back. For a premier league club with people paid to sort these things out that is ridiculous.

All ganes like this does is just prolong the inevitable. Rinse and repeat.

I felt nothing when we equalised because it simply repeats what happens here all the time, short term thinking.

Beto gets a handful of goals, Hes kept despite clearly showing Hes not the answer .
He's go one who is fit and has played really well over the past month, yet opts not to use him.
I imagine he's expecting to find a Cafu regen who will cost £250k from somewhere....and then bench him because he's not experienced enough.

Fact is, unless we win every game, because of the agendas against Moyes, for some fair and some unfair reasons, you’re going to get a load of moaning each week.

The fact is this is the best we’ve done in the last 5 seasons, it’s progression, that’s all we can ask for. Even the best team are struggling to win back to back games and we’re nowhere near that.

My arguement against that is that the PL is poor quality these days. Many teams usually cemented into the bottom half are regularly now getting their chance of European football.

We're way better that Fulham, Forest, Palace etc etc with better footballers overall in a better squad.

We have to be getting into that company.

Top half is acceptable for this season but it could be more with boldness in key games.

Iraola would step into our set up with these players and deliver Europe no problem IMO.

It's so disheartening.
Seeing four centre halves in the starting line up you knew what was coming.
Thankfully he'll be gone at the end of the season. He did his job getting us to safety last year but keeping him on any longer will do more harm than good.

A point away is not to be sniffed at, regardless of the performance. Some people on here recently have begun to sound like Wet Spam supporters - all they wanted was lovely flowing football, so put so much pressure on Moyes that he was sacked. Well look where they are now...

Anyone want to change places with them presently...?
Not wanting Moyes and being in the relegation zone are not mutually exclusive.
We can want a change and we can improve.
