Given the nature of that game, and the two fairly evenly-matched sides going at each other for 90 minutes, I thought there was a curious lack of fouls.

When we scored there was no 4 minute delay for VAR to try and chalk it off too, a very strange evening.

Great result. This was a really tough game, and our players are having to dig deep because of injuries. The fact we are creating so many chances now is such a positive.

Gave my mom to Beto, I know he missed 3 good chances that would’ve given us all 3 points but he never hid he continued to put in the effort and put their defence under pressure all game.

Surprised at the MOTM votes. Alcaraz didn't stake enough of a claim for Doucoure's spot tbh and tonight was probably O'Brien's shakiest performance outside the goal.

Alacaraz is a far better footballer but he's still growing into the team...

Beto is much easier to mark when you don't have the physical chaos of Doucoure all over the place, like how lukaku was better with kone next to him

That's why he got it man of the match for me, did not hide away in defensive duties holding the line not taking the risk.

It's amazing how much better we look, match in match out, under Moyes.

We never looked like we didn't have a chance to get a result from this game.

True, under Dyche I'd have turned off my telly and gone to sleep after their goal (match was wee hours in the morning where I'm at). With Moyes I was expecting a last minute winner from Beto. How far we've come from the dark Dyche days. The draw however felt like a draw though.

The very fact that we have come away from a game at Brentford having scored and picking up a point and we are disappointed we didn’t win after being disappointed that we didn’t beat Manchester United is testament to the decision to employ David Moyes. VAR didn’t even challenge our goal, things have changed for the better.

One thing I noticed with the game was the players being much more fluid in their positioning. Made me a bit nervous (probably Dyche-based infection hangover), but also liked the trust that players could move about a bit more, rather than rigidly staying in their netball-like positions. That saying, not sure about that Mykolenko and O'Brien switch early in the second half though!

The fact that I was irritated that we didn't win just shows how far we've come in a small space of time under Moyes. We'd have been delighted with a point there six months ago.

I went with alcaraz, work tirelessly throughout, loved seeing his determination to get back after he played a poor ball, good to see.

He really needs to ease up on the reckless shoot on sight efforts though.

No problem with taking shots if they are on but he was snatching at chances last night. He’s just keen to impress I know.

My opinion is Beto was simply unlucky tonight and in most other games, at least one of those goes in
