I always fall asleep briefly at sales meetings, fighting the eyes closing and then wake up in shock with a shake of the head and a quick look around to see if your been clocked.

It doesn't help by the fact that I'm usually one of the last people to leave the bar the night before.

eyes got heavy during a meeting at the start of the week and looked like i fell asleep for a split second. .

Apparently now all my very senior management are angry at me, just at the time when i was asking for support from them.

Yeah, welcome to my world.

All joking aside thats quite poor mate, Was the meeting important? Was there top level managers there?

Just one. Wasn't official dead serious , just feeding back on something to them. The rest of us were just low level staff.

Thing is that one top level manager will prob relay it to the rest of the management

Good tip to stay awake, Sit up straight and take notes

possibly to little to late though in regards to moving up in the firm

Managers remember incidents like that, Maybe write an email to explain what happened and a quick apology
Aye I did as soon as I found out and I think that helped things. Got a nice response back accepting my apology which is fair as there was no reason for me to apologise out if the blue.
