Boxing

Don't forget he's not under Peter Fury anymore either. Peter Fury is a boxing man and knows the game inside and out. He had a lot to do with Fury's success. He's a great tactician.
peter fury really surprised me I have to say, when he got a hold of his nephew it seemed like nepotism (which can work if the fighter is smart/good enough), but every time I saw him interviewed he spoke well and with good common sense and knowledge of the game, he made improvements to Tyson for sure, the split surprised me also.

Really under rated coach. He’s knows how to read an oppenant and exploit weaknesses on them.

Eddie Hearn's "MASSIVE" Matchroom USA presser today at 9pm UK time.

Apparently it will (in part at least) be to announce a link up with some random streaming company DAZN to broadcast multiple US cards in the States as competition to the existing broadcasters over there. Also potentially revealing some US fighters he's signed.

Other not so likely rumours include a tie-in with HBO and also to announce the signing of Wilder.

DAZN are a German tv station I think and normally show Matchroom shows across Europe. Pretty sure the Bellew fight was on there at the weekend.

$20 per month but Danny Jacobs and Anthony Joshua fights won’t be shown due to there TV broadcasters.

He mentioned few weeks back he is interested in the Charlo twins, Mikey Garcia, Wilder, Errol Spence and couple of others. He’s already got Jacobs, Miller, the Kazakh lad. He’s trying to build up big stateside. Will it work? Doubt it.

$1 Billion deal over 8 years, 16 cards per year. That's $7.5m a show! Young Edward will be able to offer some big purses before gate receipts and sponsorship is even factored in

He’s done a big deal there to be fair to him. We get more boxing and that’s what is important. Hopefully he puts big fights on stateside and we will get them over here.

He'd deffo take Ward if it was somehow available. The US PPV figures would be tasty for that, as well as the gate receipts if they did it at Wembley or something.

Fury is more likely, perhaps early 2019.
Ward has never done big PPV numbers and bellew v ward is never. Happening at Wembley . Goodison maybe.

No idea but it's a bad move from Tyson as Peter fury is as shrewd a trainer as you'll get over here. I look forward to tysons comeback but always forget he's without Peter fury this time. Which could be a disaster.

Was wondering about the split and I couldn’t really think other than the usual change of scenery or maybe Tyson fancies going the states to fight ? Because Peter can’t get because he can’t get a visa , I remember he missed the Cunningham fight .
