Boxing

Really?

Doubt it personally. I think Fury would be too big for Bellew as he'd keep him out of range with his reach very easily, but Fury isn't a concussive puncher at all and I actually think he'd find it very hard to land anything solid on Bellew anyway. A 12 round boring decision is the most likely outcome of that.

Indeed, depending on how Fury comes back, Bellew would have a real chance of doing him on points. People forget that, before Klitchsko, Fury had fought a parade of nobodies and struggled against a fair few, including against people Bellew's height, including when Fury definitely lost to McDermott and got the rigged referee decision.
Tbh i have been out of the sport for a while but from I saw ...Klitschko was a beast against Joshua.... Joshua beat him....just...I don't see Bellew in the same league as Klitschko or Joshua...personally he should quit whilst winning.. It aint worth it....boxing is a mugs game if your a self confessed fat lad with balls...I think after Haye...you need more than that to compete.

The Klitschko Fury beat wasn't the same guy Joshua beat.

That's the thing - Fury has beat nobodies or fringe world/European level fighters and a badly off his game Klitschko and... that's it. People make him out to be this wonderful heavyweight; he isn't.

Also, Bellew talks himself down but he's quite clearly a very decent boxer. The fight with Fury is as legitimate as Haye vs. Valuev - the question is can the smaller man get on the inside, slip shots and score over 12 rounds. It's very possible.

Joshua beat a Klitschko would hadn't fought for over 2 years and was over 40.
Fury beats Klitschko who was under 40, still active and had been undeafeted the last decade.

Klitschko Vs Joshua was competitive, and Klitschko could have won if he went for the finish when Joshua was badly hurt in round 5.
Fury Vs Klitschko wasnt competitive fury won every round without a glove being laid on him.

Fury didn’t win every round. But he won it by a clear 4 rounds. The difference between Fury and Joshua is. One had been boxing from a young age and had 7 years of pro experience before he fought Klitschko. Fury had experience, rounds under his belt. The other had started at 18, and had been a pro for 3 and hardly any experience. People forget Joshua is still learning and pretty green. He’s just been marketed and promoted and hyped up beyond his experience.

People forget about the cancelled Fury vs Klitschko rematch, it was struggling to sell tickets at the M.E.N arena a few weeks before the fight was scheduled.

Yeah he proved me very wrong, it was a great victory all told. You could again be right on vlad, If Tony fights like he did against Haye 2 anything is possible. Thing is, Bellew has done what he set out to do now.. he's silenced the naysayers and secured his familys future.. I just don't think he NEEDS this one.
Again...I have been wrong in pretty much everything else so...

I’m happy with him taking the fight , not that I’m too confident really but I’d also want to see what fury brings in his comeback before I made a prediction .

I am reading today about the possibility of him fighting at goodison again and part of me really doesn’t want that . Tony winning the title at Goodison was one if my best nights watching boxing and I’ve seen some amazing title Fights around the world and if he lost there I’d almost feel it’d lose some of the gloss .

Wish I had gone..the atmosphere on tv was epic so can only imagine...

He fought an over the hill haye who was clearly injured in both fights.
If you only count the rounds haye wasnt injured in, haye would easily have won. He took him to round 11 in the first fight ffs.
If haye again wasnt injured he would easily have won both fights even at 37.

Haye has previous for both feigning injury in fights, and feigning injury to postpone/cancel fights. If he told me the sky was blue I'd go outside and check.

Don't think he was feigning anything to be honest, to be that sort of condition and to fight the style haye does your going to get prone to injuries when your in your late thirties.

Yeah it was wasn't selling well because Fury's style is not popular to casuals.

he's not exactly mayweather or loma either, the suggestion that fury is the purists choice is a bit misty eyed, I doubt anyone living outside a caravan enjoyed his klitscko fight more than Joshua's
He's the closest thing to that in the heavyweight division.

can't see those lads struggling with john mcdermott or getting floored by cunningham, fury is awkward, tall and has a good engine and self belief, I don't see the wonderfully skilled boxer in there that is being made out in his absence, he's decent and awkward but not much more than that
They probably won't.

However fury improved a lot from hammer fight and the klit fight.
I can't see fury struggling against any of the top heavyweights, only the elite (Joshua / wilder) are 50/50s and fights that we want to see
