I can't see fury struggling against any of the top heavyweights, only the elite (Joshua / wilder) are 50/50s and fights that we want to see

he's been out over two years, not easy to regain your timing after such a long time out, very few fighters come back the same, far better boxers than fury have struggled to regain what they once had.

Also worth noting that in all the criticism Joshua gets, mainly because he is popular so boxing fans get a bit annoyed at the casual fans, the cunningham fight was Fury's 21st, parker was joshuas 21st, if Joshua had got flattened by an old cruiser weight in his 21st fight he would have been slaughtered by boxing fans

Don't think he was feigning anything to be honest, to be that sort of condition and to fight the style haye does your going to get prone to injuries when your in your late thirties.

Don't know, a single shot power hitter like haye, fighting with most of his weight on his front foot, something isn't right. Wouldn't be massively surprised if they both knew, the whole affair has been a cynically orchestrated circus from before the first fight, I've enjoyed very little about this 'rivalry'

Yeah it was wasn't selling well because Fury's style is not popular to casuals.

Beyond belief, Fury outside of social media isn’t a well liked man. He hardly looked special in any fight leading up to the Klitschko one. This, he’s the rightful throne to the heavyweight division is loads of bollocks. He will struggle with fighters who will be able to fight on the inside, he will struggle with fighters with speed who will be able to get on the inside. Joshua and wilder will cause him huge problems.

I've said fury Vs Joshua or wilder are 50/50 fights, I'd also say wilder Joshua is 50/50.

Yeah, furys second fight didn't sell well because of the reasons you said and the style of the first fight, it wasn't an exciting fight and wasn't competitive.

Joshua came into the sport and olympic gold and world silver medalist, he was what 28/29 in his 21st fight.

Fury turned pro a lot younger, without the amature pedigree and top notch program Joshua has in place for everything that he does, and in his 21st fight he was what 23 ?

Joshua was also 18 when he walked into a boxing gym, that's very late, tyson did have an amateur pedigree, he was an ABA fighter, I don't have his record but from memory he had around 40 fights, with plenty of international bouts, that's without going into his cultural background and all those lads learn some form of boxing from an early age.

But I don't consider all that the be all and end all, my post aside from stating how I think Tyson's hiatus is being a little overlooked, was about unfair comparisons, I was making the case for AJ as an example, but as you proved, that door can and in the build up to a fight between opposing fans, will swing both ways

Don't forget he's not under Peter Fury anymore either. Peter Fury is a boxing man and knows the game inside and out. He had a lot to do with Fury's success. He's a great tactician.
