I can watch it and think it's alright but a lot of it looks like two lads fighting in a carpark. When you look at a quality boxing match or some of the skills on display then as I say it's apples abd oranges .
I went to a major UFC event and I was surprised to see a crowd that was as you say very lad bible in make up , very different to your standard boxing crowd.
The average boxing fan has at some point laced them up, i think there is in general more respect for the sport from boxing fans as a result, rather than a bunch of chumps in tap out gear who want to feel hard by proxy, plenty of sound ufc fans out there who are good to listen to as I don't know the complexities of their sport, but the vast majority are helmets who've only ever seen violence through an xbox
