Boxing

Donaire has never been the same since either mate eh. I believe he's fighting this week. There is boxing on Friday night Saturday afternoon then the Manchester card Saturday night. Happy days
perfect counter punchers display, took all his oppenents strengths and turned them on him to the point were donaire was wary of using them, donaire was a feared favourite at the time too, loads of fights for rigo, but no one will go near him, he's not a massive payday for someone so hard to beat I guess, even frampton and quigg refuse to even mention his name. I loved watching Lomachenko as an amateur, and got huge admiration for what he attempting to do in the pro game, fascinating match up if it happens

its as good a fight as any that could be made at the minute . Heard he may be signing with haymon . I'd love to see what frampton could do against rigo .

good luck to him, will be probably be a good watch with price's power and vulnerabilities, there's good fights for price if he can become euro champ and get back in the mix, he won't win them all but he can make a fine living and it would be entertaining
boxing on tomorrow on boxnation (price) Saturday afternoon on boxnation from Macau ( donaire) sky Saturday night card quigg and crolla in world title fights and foot v eggington which will be a cracker.

Itv are showing the frampton fight at the same time

Chavez jnr is in late but I'm not sure if it's televised here

Can't wait

their domestic cards are dreadful, but boxnation does show very good world wide coverage, frampton and quigg fighting the same day, surely something is in the pipeline, having said that I do wonder how much kiko martinez has left, could well be enough to cause quigg some problems, quigg should be too big for him in the end though

Very possibly as money talks and Froch always stays in shape. I would of loved him to get his Vegas swan song but never mind . I was at the last Kessler fight and the groves 2 bout . The atmosphere at the Kessler fight was up there with anything I've ever experienced at a football game. The knock out v groves at Wembley is in my top 3 non Everton sporting moments as well. I went berserk surrounded by groves supporting cockney beauts it was great

The bute fight was boss as well the atmosphere sounded insane
I'd go as far as saying he has the toughest list of opponents off any British fighter that I can remember .
how can you go beserk in support for froch? have you listened to the guy?

i was thinking of a sneaky bet on Martinez at over 3/1 it's not bad odds. I fancy tepee as well at over 2/1

My treble I've already done is Perez , eggington and Abraham

I forgot sky are showing the Abraham Stieglitz 4th fight as well .

yeah I'm tempted myself mate, if I had to call it I'd lean slightly towards quigg, but I fancy martinez as an outsider

I like him because of his boxing ability and his willingness to fight anyone . I also despise groves who is a monumental bell end. I don't really care how he talks . In fact I think he is hilarious in the way he trolls people .

Can't believe I've never seen this before. Ali really did destroy opponents mentally. Background to it -

On this days April 27 In 1974, Foreman walked into a boxing ring in Kinshasa, Zaire to defend his heavyweight championship against Muhammad Ali. Eight rounds later, the fight was over, as was the legend of the unbeatable George Foreman. In a career-defining loss, Foreman was out-thought and outfought by Ali, finally being counted out following a stinging Ali combination that ended with a shocking right hand.

For Ali, the victory was one more in a career of unbelievable triumphs. For Foreman, the roof caved in.

Following the loss, Foreman disappeared for a while, then re-emerged with an idea that was part circus and part WWE. On April 26, 1975, in Toronto, Foreman fought an exhibition. Actually, make that five exhibitions. The idea was apparently that Foreman would fight five men, knock them all out, recapture his mental edge and thrill the public watching on Wide World of Sports. The reality was it was just stupid.

From the moment Foreman arrived in the ring, boos began cascading down from the rafters. To make matters worse for Foreman, the fights were being announced by Howard Cosell with Ali doing the color commentary. For Ali, doing color meant a non-stop verbal barrage at Foreman.

Alonzo Johnson was the first opponent, coming in at 40 years old with a 23–19 record, as well as sporting a hairstyle that would make Katt Williams jealous. Foreman came out dancing and goofing off, which for a man his size and with his attitude, was actually kind of creepy. A non-descript first round led to Johnson getting knocked out in the second.

“The thing is a carnival and it’s not pleasant to see,” said Howard Cosell, who had a habit of announcing things that were unpleasant to see
