Would definitely be a fight worth staying up for.

Wouldn't have to stay up that late because it'd be in front of 80,000 people at Wembley Stadium where he knocked out George Groves, have you heard?

I agree with the above, though. Ridiculous fight to take.

nothing ridiculous about one last Wembley payday. I'd slightly fancy golovkin 60/40 very close fight.

Haha.

Won't there be an American interest in this one though so they might move the time to suit their box office?I remember going to Cardiff for Calzage vs Kessler and the fight didn't start till 3am. There was a really bad atmosphere as people had been boozing all day in the Weatherspoons and then come in for Enzo Macarrinelli fight at 11pm and then they stopped serving booze. More KOs in the stands than in the ring.

Golovkin hasnt been hit yet, especially by a super middleweight. I wouldnt be to quick to write froch off.

Supposedly in talks with Golovkin, would be a tremendous fight, Golovkin got hit far too much I thought against Munroe, fascinating fight though

I agree although was listening to a podcast where the opinion was because he wasn't hurting him and he knew he couldn't he was Far too casual and even happy to almost use his opponent as a range finder and that we'd see more head movement against a bigger puncher.

I think anyone who completely writes off Froch against any opponent surely can't have watched him too much , what he lacks technically he certainly makes up for on spirit .

Oh I wouldn't write him off either. Froch is much bigger and the best opponent Golovkin will have faced by far. I just think it's a dangerous fight to take at this stage of his career and he could probably fill Wembley against someone not as good like Direll, DeGale or even a third with Groves (PPV might be different, like).

He's a tough nut to crack is Froch, even though there is only one weight division between them, there is quite a size difference. I take your point about Monroe not having the power, but he still got hit too much for my liking. I love watching Golovkin, and he looks fantastic, great amateur pedigree, but this would just be a step up in class, it would be a step up in size and class, great fight though, potential fight of the year

it's a fight I'd like to see and I don't think Froch would be an easy fight for Golovkin by any means, he's made of good stuff Carl and would be a chance to be a hero for British boxing whatever the outcome.
