How far away were you to catch that with a 100mm macro mate? Whats the minimum focus length on the 100mm EF?

I had the lens maybe 4 inches away from the spider, but I used extension tubes and this is cropped from the original size.

Yes, it is a macro lens ( 1:1 magnification ) but using extension tubes gets you even closer!
