That last pic of the fly, he's looking at you there as if to say "Alright mate put down your camera and flick me free".

It's a great pic, one of his best IMO. With the pictures and the commentary you should be doing some Attenborough [Poor language removed] @Bilbo.

I like to dabble from time to time. I've got various programs that I'll use as I can't afford PhotoShop, but I love graphic design and I'm always mocking stuff up and editing things. I only mess about taking stuff with my camera on my phone and I couldn't justify paying out for a good camera as I just wouldn't use it enough.

My avatar was created through a few of these programs.

Microsoft Paint, IrfanView and GIMP2 are all cracking programs that I'll make use of. It's more laborious than PhotoShop, but I can get something like the same results.

You really don't need to pay much for a half way decent camera these days mate. Years ago I was shooting on 35mm SLR's on kit which was worth a 4 figure sum. These days even a half way decent compact will give you superb results. To do what @Bilko's doing you'd need something better, but a lot of the time, you just need to carry a camera with you and think about what you're pointing it at.
