The fact we still have to keep explaining that it works against confidence and therefore against our team, proves that some are still stupid enough to be still doing it.

Genuinely think the booing could be a release of frustration from some other part of their life like being trapped in a stressfully or boring job, marriage or just possessing really tiny genitalia. I think people choose SUVs for the same reasons.

😂😂😂

Sigmund Freud here.

We pay a lot of money to watch the club we love and if we don’t believe the players are fighting for that badge we have every right to tell them it’s not good enough.

Maybe we should all right some strongly worded letters to the players instead?

I get your sentiment - truly I do. Then players, all players are paid ridiculous amounts and they should be prepared to sweat blood.

But your thinking: I'll pay for all this then undermine them or any potential if I'm not happy. You may be an everton fan, but youre not an everton supporter.

Introduce booing in to your everyday life!! Slow traffic lights? Boooooo! Dinner slightly under seasoned? Booooo! By the time the match rolls around you’ll be a serene, wise, Ned Flanders type!! Huzzah!!

The Sound That Falls Back

They step onto the grass in blue,
not flawless gods - just human too,
with thunder hearts and heavy boots,
carrying hopes like tangled roots.

But when the boos roll down the stand,
they shake like rain on shifting sand;
a pass goes wide, a touch feels wrong,
confidence thins where it once was strong.

The roar that should lift tired feet
turns cold and sharp, no longer sweet;
and under lights that blaze so bright,
fear grows louder than the fight.

But cheers can turn the night around,
a rising, hopeful, steady sound;
and every voice that chooses grace
can help a player find their place.

PS it’s ok to booo Moyels though btw.

Can never understand over the years particularly at away games the people who stand there at the end of a game applauding the team,no matter what the result or performance🙄🤣👍

If you cheer then you're a supporter. If you follow them everywhere and boo because you want tgem to be better then you're just a fan with zero understanding of how confidence affects a team ... subtle difference. Think about it.
