Booing

In Phil Jagielka we have a captain possessing leadership skills without peer in PL history.
I’m of opinion that when Capt Jags hears boos he automatically squats down to do up some imagined untied boot lace.
We are so lucky to have Capt Jags leading us. Moyes did us a great service by appointing Jags skipper...just prior to leaving us for Man Utd
Thank you Moysie...

Thing is mate we were playing West Brom at Home and you can’t score goals passing backwards or sideways, so you can understand the frustration.

I’d rather we lost it attempting to play a forward pass than lose it at the back.

You can develop attacks more if you pass sideways and back and draw people out of position, look at City against liverpool the other week, they were still passing it about in the 90th minute and not always forwards. I just think it's wrong to complain at slowly developing an attack (albeit, yes, it was extremely lethargic in manner) and then when they do what you're asking for, pumping it long, complain when the ball is lost. There's a reason why teams pass it sideways and back

There's a subtle difference between getting the pass forward by making sensible passes and just hoofing it you know.

yeh I agree the lack of movement was poor and that meant there weren't many forward passes available. But I heard people actually saying, hoof it up, just play it upfield, stop going sideways and back. Then these same were booing when rooney tried a 40 yard ball and it didnt come off!

He is an excellent lace tier to be fair to him. Unparalleled in the Premier League.

I know mate, don’t get me wrong I hate us hoofing it, but they weren’t passing it round to draw West Brom out, none of them were capable or don’t want the responsibility.

We didn’t seem to have any idea, and we were passing it back from midfield to Williams, Holgate or Kenny who were just launching it anyway as they aren’t comfortable on the ball, and not giving our attack any chance.

As you said everything was too slow, and it didn’t look to me like we had any pattern to our play.

Well mate that's obviously not working though is it

Many people who work in normal public facing roles get abuse on a much more regular basis with pretty much zero protection from the very real threat of violence all for very little reward. For a professional footballer to somehow believe that they have it worse shows an unbelievable disassociation from reality.

My missus is a nurse and I can guarantee she gets more abuse, threats and deals with more violent behaviour towards herself in 6 months than the average footballer gets over their entire career. And if she lets it affect her professional conduct or performance then there's disciplinary action and even possible criminal charges to look forward to.

Booing. Boo-hoo.
