Totally agree George, but NOT booing isn't going to make this shower play better either.
Whilst I understand what you're saying, I think the culture of our football nowadays is shocking.
Look around the world, they sing whether winning or losing, they go to training stadiums and welcome the team back if they come back from a good away victory etc.

Look at it this way, if you were a footballer and your fans only sang when you were winning and they boo'd if you concede, would you be arsed even trying for them? No matter what they are getting 60k a week. So would you be arsed? I wouldn't.

Not talking just about everton here, i think it's the same with all English teams

Would never boo an individual, there are no winners in doing this. Couldn't understand the crowd doing it in the seventies as a kid and it still doesn't compute,in fact it's embarrassing to see grown men boo.

...it's a passionate game and folk care about Everton. I'd never boo but I also never 'sing'. I accept others are different so it doesn't really bother me even if I disagree with their opinion.

I don't really get the view that the team should be supported regardless, if folk pay their hard earned and are consistently served up rubbish I think it's reasonable that the ground lacks atmosphere.

Booing is for gimps and wools! seriously who the fk goes the game and actually boooos if your over the age of 8?

I find it dead funny to imagine what it would be like if only people up to the age of 8 booed, imagine how high pitched the boos would be, it'd be like boos sped up x16

At half time and full time and after an utterly cowardly piece of play it's completely acceptable.

It's our only way of letting those in charge see how out of touch they are with reality and to hold them to account.

I remember Unsworth getting booed in a game at Goodison when he touched the ball, he was playing left back but can't remember who it was against.

Fellani was booed coming off the pitch at Goodison after being subbed the day Wigan beat us in the Cup.

To be fair he was having a go at the crowd for daring to be slightly peeved at the way the match was going whilst he barely broke a sweat.

People would have him back too!

The ref usually gets a barrage of boos if he makes a terrible decision.

I don't boo, but can understand why people do if there's a severe lack of effort on display.
