That is what I can't understand, people's acceptance on mistakes because we have injuries.

I just stated that his corners were not amazing, and since we had other options they have become more potent, and more variable. Less predictable.

Arteta is a very good player, but he isn't a great player - otherwise he would have left yonks ago. Just need some perspective. Personally I think Pienaar is twice the player.
 

His set pieces where dreadful = he played poorly.

He didn't score = he played poorly.

He didn't win a header at a set piece = inept performance.

That's how you view things, I can't really debate with that to be honest. That's how I viewed games when I was a young gun, around 8-10.
 
He didn't watch us enough last season to judge. I remember him trying to give opinions on certain players performances without having seen the game. He was listening to the Radio...

He probably still thinks Arteta plays outwide, and yes, Pienaar is a better and more productive wide player.

Arteta is a central midfielder, our best in that position and one of the best in the League in his position. His performances where there for everyone to see.

He's not a great player because he hasn't left? Rubbish. Both Bill Kenwright and Guillem Balague have mentioned that Arteta has has offers during his time at Everton.
 
Well what it is is that you two people have gotten personal with me because I dont subscribe to your way of thinking.

I watched every game last season, I didn't go to many games because I couldn't afford to but I watched them on TV, and on Football First, and that may give me an advantage over you because I get a better view.

But your all 'Arteta is God', and he isn't. He's a very good player for sure and will be a regular, but he isn't without flaws.

And I know he doesn't just play on the wing, try not to be so insulting eh lads?

Where are we all saying this? We are saying he's our best centre midfielder, which he is. That doesn't equal Arteta is God does it?

Talk about getting personal, your the one who accused a poster of being lazy because he wouldn't look for a link for a stream on his own. You really can't talk about getting personal at all to be honest.

Yeah good one lad.

It's not good for the forum for people to keep posting links to streams, as its an illegal website we are linking to, and it's simple to just google it. We say the same thing every week.

Arteta probably is our best Centre Midfielder. But his corners are not the best, that's pretty much common knowledge amongst the experts.
